"My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the Goatel Yurt! Somewhere between glamping and a traditional vacation rental, the yurt had a lot of amenities to offer (including an InstaPot!) and was a nice place to reconnect with travel buddies after a year of being stuck at home. The views are absolutely incredible, the hosts were kind and accommodating, and the goats were hilarious! The walk down to the goats wasn't too far, but it was fairly steep, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear and don't forget your rescue inhalers! Also, make sure to wear grubby clothing you don't mind getting dirty and/or chewed on when meeting the goats as a few of them like to nibble on shoelaces and shirt hems! Definitely an experience we'll remember!"

"The Goatel yurt experience was fantastic! The views are incredible. We watched a family of quails feeding all around the deck for days. We loved watching the fog roll in across the mountains and listening to the “redwood rain”. The visit with the goats was a unique and entertaining amenity, for sure. The yurt is delightfully decorated and well-equipped. The bed is super comfy memory foam. We enjoyed heating with the wood stove."
